On the occasion of World Environment Day, CFTI along with PNP College & Gram Panchayat of ‘Sahan’ village conducted a tree plantation drive under ‘Rashtriya Seva Yogana’. Mrs.Chitralekha Patil of CFTI donated a sapling to each of the villager.
In a unique exercise every tree planted by the villager was given a name. The villagers took a pledge to take care of the sapling and make sure it grows into a full grown tree. At CFTI we believe that small efforts like these at grassroot level will surely help reverse the damage that industrialisation & global warming has done to the environment.
